The K A Parts team are geographically spread and different team members use a common web site to download their job lists in PDF form. PDF Clown has been used for over 2 years and has proved capable of dealing with all demands made of it. Recently PDF Clown has also been integrated into a scanning solution to process receipts: the receipts are scanned and converted using OCR to PDF, then PDF Clown is used to scan through the PDF files and identify the dates and amounts on these receipts, which are finally exported to our accounting software»
